Staggered Start Information

2020 Staggered Start 

To decrease class sizes on the first days of school, the district has implemented a staggered start to the school year for in-person students (students attending school on-campus). Details of Johnston Hopkins staggered start are below. 

Tuesday, September 8, 2020 Grades 1-6 Students w/ last names A-K
Wednesday, Septermber 9, 2020 Grades 1-6 Students w/ last names L-Z
Thursday, September 10, 2020 All students in grade 1-6 on campus
Monday, September 14, 2020 ½ of Pre-K and K Students
Tuesday, September 15, 2020 ½ (second half) of Pre-K and K Students 
Wednesday, September 16, 2020 All students on campus

** Note: On staggered start days, your child will only attend one of the days according to their last name. For example, if they attend on the first day (September 8) they do not report on the next day (September 9) and will report again on the third day (September 10). If you have any questions, please reach out to your childs classroom teacher on orientation or call the school. 

 

**Reminder: All students in grades 3-6 must be in school uniform and wear mask at all times on campus.
