Administrative Assistant’s Message: 

Dear Johnston-Hopkins Family,


Welcome to another great school year! My hope is that everyone had a
wonderful summer and is ready to return to campus to learn and grow
together. I know our faculty and staff have been working hard preparing
for our students return.

My name is Elizabeth Broussard and I am honored to serve Johnston-
Hopkins Elementary in the role of administrative assistant. 


During my time at JHOP I have witnessed a community of students,
parents, faculty and staff unite and support one another - just like a
family. While working as a family, we have accomplished great things.
A few examples being: raising a maintaining our school performance
score to a “C” average with an outstanding 100 % “A” growth score,
implementing and following safety precautions to remain healthy while
still ensuring high-quality teaching and learning through a pandemic,
collaborating with our community members to provide necessary
resources for our students, and taking every possible opportunity to
celebrate our students and their success. While we celebrate these
(and more) successes, we also know we still have work to do.


As we look forward, I am confident that we will continue to succeed if
we work together. We must never forget rule # 1: “We are family!”.
