JOHNSTON-HOPKINS ELEMENTARY ORIENTATION:

Tuesday, August 8, 2023                                 9:00 – 10:00, 10:00 – 11:00 (Grades PK-6)

Parents and current JHOP students will report to the cafeteria for a brief message from the school
principal at the beginning of each scheduled session. Immediately following, parents will go the
classroom. Rosters will be posted outside of the teachers’ door. Parents will complete packets and pay
fees in the homeroom class. A packet MUST be completed for each student. Please bring all school
supplies labeled with your child’s name.
Students in Pre-K will attend a MEET the TEACHER session. Orientation will take place when students
come for Pre-K testing.
MANDATORY ORIENTATION/REGISTRATION FEE: $10 (Cash or money order ONLY) No money will be
collected in the office.

Tables will be set up with the following:
- Car Rider Registration (Replacement tags will be $2.00)
- JHOP Merch (spirit shirts, lanyards, etc.)
- Parent Involvement Sign-up
School uniforms are required for all students attending Orientation.

Registration of new students will not take place during orientation.
