Christina Hulin
Principals Message:
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as the new principal of Johnston-Hopkins Elementary. My name is Christina Hulin, and I have 18 years experience in the Iberia Parish School System. I began my career in 2002 at Westgate High School, where I taught English Language Arts. In 2008, I transferred to Johnston Street Elementary, where I began my career as a librarian and mentor teacher. Since Johnston-Hopkins Elementary opened its doors in January 2012, I have been a proud member of the Lion family and have served as librarian, mentor teacher, master teacher, assistant principal, and now principal. I truly love the students, staff, and families of Johnston-Hopkins, and I am honored for the opportunity to lead the school in this new capacity.
The school's leadership team and I will work hard for the students of Johnston-Hopkins Elementary. As our mission states, our goal is to help students reach their full potential, be life-long learners, and become productive members of society.
